THE SCIENCE FESTIVAL

GO OXYGEN GO!

                           

Today P3 had a learning experience of a science festival workshop called Go Oxygen Go. 

They learnt how oxygen travels around our body.

   
                                 
                                                 

Oxygen gets into our bodies through our nose and our mouth.

The hairs in our nose catch dirt from the oxygen we breathe.

We sneeze to get rid of the dirt.

                           

Oxygen fills our lungs to help us breathe.

                                 Our heart beats and pumps the blood through our bodies.                             

The blood travels away from the heart and around the body in the arteries 

and back to the heart in the veins.

                                     
                When the heart pumps blood through our bodies our muscles are healthy and strong.
