P4

All P3 classes had a visit from local illustrator Britt Harcus. She showed them how to develop a character. Britt wrote this book and made her main character wear red boots so that the character was easily recognised in the illustrations. These were  Britt's favourite books when she was a child. .  

We have been learning to create a setting to entertain the reader. We read some story settings and looked for nouns, adjectives and verbs. We then planned our own story setting.
