Creating a Setting

We have been learning to create a setting to entertain the reader.

We read some story settings and looked for nouns, adjectives and verbs.





















We then planned our own story setting.

Visit from Britt Harcus

All P3 classes had a visit from local illustrator Britt Harcus. She showed them how to develop a character. Britt wrote this book and made her main character wear red boots so that the character was easily recognised in the illustrations. These were  Britt's favourite books when she was a child. .
