Visit from Laura Drever



Local Artist Laura Drever came to visit the P3 classes to show them how to create a setting. 
 Their settings had to be based on water and could be a seascape, beach, rock pool, loch....  
Pupils were shown how to mix colours using the primary colours.

Visit from Britt Harcus

All P3 classes had a visit from local illustrator Britt Harcus. She showed them how to develop a character. Britt wrote this book and made her main character wear red boots so that the character was easily recognised in the illustrations. These were  Britt's favourite books when she was a child. .
